Bellator officials confirmed to the Dallas Morning News that the promotion would be returning to the WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma for Bellator 166 on December 2. The event will be headlined by a title fight rematch as Eduardo Dantas will defend the bantamweight title against former champion Joe Warren.

Warren (13-5, 1NC is currently on a one-fight winning streak. In his last six bouts, he’s 4-2. He beat Rafael Silva at Bellator 118 by decision, and Eduardo Dantas at Bellator 128 by decision. He lost to Marcos Galvao at Bellator 135 by second round kneebar, but rebounded with a decision win over LC Davis at Bellator 143. He lost to Darrion Caldwell at Bellator 151 by first round submission. He beat Sirwan Kakai by third round submission at Bellator 161.

Dantas (18-4) is currently on a two-fight winning streak. In his last six bouts, he’s 4-2. He lost to Tyson Nam at Shooto Brazil 33 by first round KO, but beat Marcos Galvao at Bellator 89 by second round KO and Anthony Leone at Bellator 111 by second round rear-naked choke. He lost to Joe Warren at Bellator 128 by decision but beat Mike Richman at Bellator 137 by decision. He beat Marcos Galvao at Bellator 156 by decision.

Bellator also revealed that Bellator 167 will take place the following night at the WinStar World Casino.
