Bellator MMA confirmed to MMA Junkie on Wednesday that Heavyweight Cheick Kongo and flyweight Ilima Macfarlane have both inked multi-fight contract extensions with the promotion.

Macfarlane (4-0) is currently an undefeated fighter and has beaten Katie Castro at Xplode Fight Series Hurricane by first round KO, Maria Rios at Bellator 141 by decision and Amber Tackett at Bellator 148 by first round submission. She beat Rebecca Ruth at Bellator Dynamite 2 by second round submission.

Kongo (25-10-2) is currently on a three-fight winning streak. In his last six bouts, he’s 5-1. He scored a second-round TKO win over Eric Smith at Bellator 120 and a first-round rear naked choke win over Lavar Johnson in September of 2014. In his next bout, he lost to King Mo in February of 2015 by split decision. He beat Alexander Volkov at Bellator 139 by unanimous decision. He beat Vinicius Queiroz at Bellator 150 by split decision. He beat Tony Johnson at Bellator 161 by decision.

It’s likely Bellator MMA will issue a press release later and give more details on the contract extensions.
